Well, on Webstreet, placing an order is a two-step process. First, you put in the order information and press the "verify" button. The screen comes back with what you entered, and a current quote, then you enter a second password to submit the order. The only opportunity to enter a symbol in this process is at the beginning. Currently, entering PLRP gets me through the first half of the process, but I get a "SYMB symbol not found on MSD" error (or something like that) in the second half. If I enter PLRPD in the beginning, I get an "invald symbol" error immediately!! Sort of makes it hard to make a trade! 8^) Dave D
