After reading over the settlement agreement, I don't think it is going to be as bad as the numbers look like. I hate to seem them cave in, but it's probably better to get it out of the way and move on. If anyone is concerned about it they wouldn't get in & the cost of legal fees and lost growth would be more than they end up spending, not even counting the time & attention demanded by it. All in all, even if it was groundless, we came out of it as well as could be expected - and the attorneys who saw the opportunity will make over $1,000,000 I imagine. Maybe we should have diversified into stock in the law firm!
