Speculatively, one should be able to clone an install that
had SP4 or SP3+atafix to a larger partition.

works fine for me with DI 2.0

A partial answer might be that NT seems to handle large partitions ok
right off the cd (service pack 1); it's creating and formatting
where it apparently fails without ATAFix, though I certainly
haven't tested that exhaustively

since when does SP1 handle large paritions???

SP4 vs. SP3 makes a difference. SP4 was confusing PM. I imagine lots of potential havoc with PM and DI until this was addressed for SP4 users.

BTW: Why hasn't anyone (not one person) called powerquest. Do yall enjoy pain and like to complain??? Personally I like get solutions to my problems as quickly and painlesslly as possible.....
