This reminds me of something I'm doing right now.

When EMC was about 103 or so....I opened a bullput spread.....bought the Feb 100 puts, and sold the Feb 105 puts.....netted a few hundred dollars I guess.

NOW with EMC tanking to about 97 or so today...my spread looks like a loser. If I wait till expiry....I stand to lose 5 points/share ( I have 5 contracts of each).

If I close today....it looks like I'll lose about 3 points/share...although the market makers will probably make mincemeat of me. Question is....should one really wait longer (after all the most I should lose is 5 points because I'm long the Feb 100 Put
