I did just that over a year ago.. Very pleased with the results.
I held Dell for 3 years prior and charted the other stocks I held versus DELL for the time period. Nothing even came close.
DELL made the GE stock look like it was standing still. It made the MSFT and INTC stock look just OK.
I now only hold stock in my 401K and DELL shares.

If you do switch.. Don't measure for 6 months to a year. After a split or two, you begin to laugh. After 3 years, you look like a genius.
Without Kemble, Venkie, and the rest, it would be impossible to have this kind of guts.

Don't know where I saw the quote but I like it:

"To make money in stocks you have to have the vision to see them, the courage to buy them and the patience to hold them."
