Here was my response to this issue published on Raging Bull:

The following is my limited understanding about the Fish-Nanotronics(Falk Estate)-Patriot litigation. Please anyone (including you, Mr. Fish) feel free to add/subtract any info you wish.

Apparently Chuck Moore and Russell Fish, two of the inventors of the original PSC1000, originally had agreed to terms of compensation with Helmut
Falk for the purchase of the chip and all it's intellictual property. Mr. Moore as I understand it is not unhappy with the terms but Mr. Fish is and brought suit in Aug "98 against Nanotronics (owned by the Falk Family). Included in the suit was Patriot Scientific the present owners of the chip and all of its patents. This went to mediation last year. At one point terms were agreed to by the Falk Estate and Mr. Fish at which time the lawyers, Falks, and Fish met at the mediators to sign the documents. No documents were signed because Mr. Fish suddenly changed the terms of the agreements at the meeting and the mediator being quite upset said this must be settled elsewhere. To the best of my understanding that is where we are now with this case.
