"...your quick wit and hammering insults have indeed put a terrible strain upon my emotional well-being..."
Quick wit? Nothing over the Internet is quick, especially in a forum such as this one. I can compose this quite leisurely.
Hammering insults? Where? As far as I can see, "you" are just a bunch of black dots on a white background (or yellow background, as it was when I had a dying monitor and the blue gun failed intermittently). And, to be fair, so am I to you, as I do not recall ever meeting you "in the flesh." I haven't even been in New York since 1982.
Please, for your own sake and emotional well being, get a life.
Diatribe? "A prolonged or exhaustive discussion; especially, an acrimonious or invective harangue; a strain of abusive or railing language; a philippic." (Webster's) Come on, now. You must tire easily, because "exhaustive" is the only adjective which I can find there which might possibly fit my note. (Most certainly not "philippic.")
"IOM $6 15/16" Well, this is still tidily above where I bought, so it's fine with me. Thanks for the update. TTFN.
