To All Wescam Followers: Wescam Announces $10 Million Contracts 14:11 EST Monday, February 8, 1999 Canadian Corporate News
FLAMBOROUGH, ONTARIO--Wescam Inc. announced today that it has been awarded four contracts totaling $10 million.
The largest contract is valued at approximately $5 million and is a follow on order from May 1998 for an international government agency. Wescam is providing a number of full turnkey camera and microwave communications systems, including two WESCAM(TM) 24 and two WESCAM(TM) 16 dual sensor camera systems, aircraft installation and integration.
The second contract comprises two WESCAM(TM) 20 stabilized camera systems for an international defence department. This is a follow on order from the customer's prime contractor who ordered WESCAM(TM) 20s in 1998.
The remaining two contracts are to provide a number of Asian self defence forces and police agencies with WESCAM(TM) 24 and WESCAM(TM) 16 airborne camera systems plus microwave communications units.
