Naz I was perhaps speaking from anecdotal evidence. For instance, my dad has most of his money with Prudential and he won't be caught dead going on margin OR playing net stocks(maybe something to do with the memories of the depression years(?)). Most people I know who have accounts with the big full service brokers invest in blue chips or mutual funds. OTOH, people who use internet brokers are apt to trade internet stocks( there is a strong positive correlation). Again, anecdotal/personal experience. Since I don't have hard data to back up my claims, I will shut up :). Will take your word for it...
