Info for Earnings "Party" in SF Bay Area, Feb 16
I am sitting in the the Old Pro Sports Bar, 2865 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, Ca. It is located at the intersection of El Camino and Page Mill/ Embarcadero Road. I am transmitting out to the thread with my laptop and wireless modem. I have just arranged for about 10 people to use the back room (smoking authorized) from 12-2 pm, Feb 16, Dell Earnings Day. We can put the 3 TV's in the back room on CNBC. I will bring my laptop with wireless modem, though I can't assure that the bandwidth will be high enough to capture the confernce call.
This is a seedy sports bar. The sign on the front says "When you win, you're an Old Pro, when you lose, you're an old man." 200 meters to the South East is a Frys Electronics. 100 meters to the West are about 900 hi tech attorneys specializing in Silicon Valley clients. 1000 meters to the North is Stanford's Hoover Tower. (Excuse the precise distances, I am a former Marine... never know when you'll have to call in close air support.) This is ground zero, Silicon Valley.
