musea. Thanks for the pep talk re: Evidently not. gg. Yes. The techs and telecoms did great and that's foremost in my mind. Let's hope it keeps up. Amat will be reporting next Tuesday and it looks like the report may be great if talk is correct.
Mr. Bryant of Intel will speak this evening at a dinner and then this technology conference will go on until Friday. Should be a plus, hopefully.

BTW, this was not the best reporting by CNBC as far as Ralph Acamporo is concerned. I may owe him an apology. gg. He evidently said that the market may go down near term 5 to 10% from its recent high. That means that the sell off could be over or may have at most another 500 points left, ouch, if you figure 10% from 9700+. But we hit the 5% target today.

But then Mr. McCabe from MER came on and called for a 20% decline. If I remember correctly that would not even take him back to where he called the DOW down orig. Oh well, at least he gets paid good. I should be entitled to easy money like that. gg.

Later in the day Mr. McCabe's brokerage, MER, came out with this poll they took of money managers and 90% opined that things look pretty well. But when things go well there could be some inflation on the horizon and that would mean: Higher interest rates. I guess that's why my CMB went down.

Earlier in the day there was a report that the floor guys were pretty happy when the market acted so well after coming back from a 90+ decline. But then CNBC's Bob Pisani reported that he was sure that if he polled those guys, 75% would think that the market will go down further. All those conflicting stories. On one hand there is joy and it looks good when the market comes back but then on the other hand, the reporter thinks he knows how those guys really feel. gg.

Just a little tour through todays market the way I saw it. And I did not see it all. I did watch the Senate show.

Sonny
