According to Bloomberg (not yet on Stocksmart), two more institutions just registered their holdings for the quarter ending 12/31/98.

Mellon Bank purchased 12,900 shares

Dimensional Fund Advisors added 32,300 shares to bring their total to 239,300 shares

And as mentioned already, Vanguard Group added 44,800 shares to bring their total to 143,600.

So far there are no reported sales by institutions (only purchases) and institutions hold around 27% of the outstanding shares.
