Stretegy and the new economy policy:

Wall street is rebuilding stockholder's equity or capital if you will. Companies are acquired and merged. Earnings are being projected so that CEO are stressing stockholder value. If earning are not met, stock gets punished. CEO gets the boot.

Main street is building distribution, more and more stores to provide shelf spaces for manufactured goods. Jobs are created for long hours to serve customers. Wages are up for skills. Consumer confidence is at all time high.

But there is still quite a few public companies not up to par. Maybe even skirting bankrupcy. To invest in these companies, risk is too high, except the rewards are too tempting. TA maybe for the picking. But, invest and own the companies that you can provide management consulting is perhaps the way to go.
