No other program has been preempted for so many different reasons than
"The Practice". I always hope that no important person dies, no country is attacked by the U.S., no one decides to resign an important position and of course that the network does not decide it can do better running some dumb special.

BTW I like Lucy, but the bit with Eugene's son was just too much given the rest of the show. It might have fit on some other one.

BTW where was Lindsay?
