Tulvio,

I'm thinking ROK's customers will suffer more from just the x2 rollout, but down the road it could get real interesting. I don't for a minute see how ROK can equal the C6X chip. My thinking is that the next generation x2 (56k) modems will utilize the C6X and certainly any xDSL products will, at least one would think so.

If I were ROK I'd be awfully concerned by the C6X rollout. What would happen if a bunch of ROK's good little buddies decide that they must use a high speed DSP in order to stay competitive with USR ? Who is going to supply them? I think things are going to get real interesting. I could see ROK suffering immensely if their customers turn to TI.

TI has really pulled out a trump card!
