Darwyn - A.S.E. (Exchange) vs A.S.C. (Commission). The link you posted ( ase.ca ) is for the Alberta Stock Exchange. There is some detail re: the Alberta Securities Commission at gov.ab.ca There's a distinction between the ASE & the ASC. The Exchange is basically a self regulatory organization that's owned by exchange menbers (brokerages). The Alberta Securities Commission is a provincial government agency that supposedly enforces provincial securities legislation (Alberta Securities Act and Rules). Reporting requirements for both insider trades and private placement financings are detailed in the Alberta Securities Act and Rules. The Alberta Securities Commission publishes insider/placement financing details while the Alberta Stock Exchange offers overall trading history details. For general trading patterns such as accumulations by specific brokerage firms the ASE trading details are useful. For insider trades & financing details the ASC offers the nitty-gritty. Here's an old post from the archives which probably now contains outdated names however the general gist still applies........... #reply-3299818
