This is similar to the traffic cop who stops one out of 30 cars, all travelling at the same speed. Consider the following "projection", made after the SFLK/SEC news came out, by INSGY's CFO:

"Based on the positive feedback from a number of potential customers who have reviewed Jene, Ambler said he is comfortable with projecting revenue of $40 million in 2000 and earnings of 85 cents a share."

Why does one company garner the wrath of the SEC prior to the announcement, while another blatant "85-mph" profit projection goes unchallenged?
