Hi Jon, One of the online brokers I use is SURETRADE. It doesn't have a real good reputation, but I have had no major problems with it. I think the biggest complaint is with customer service. I can buy BB stocks in my account (although I am moving away from these demons), although they have just raised the commission for these stocks. Shorting is not a problem, if the stock is available. You should know that I am currently looking for a new broker to change to. Their site is much too slow to suit me. Glen
