Ice--its 8,000 tons on paper, but not clear what that means in real gold, or how it will be settled. Shorting helped move the price down -- will covering drive it up? In a big, broad-based move down, everything tends to get hammered. If boatloads of money are thrown at the market, sometimes the boat refloats, or it could go into gold this time cause the faith in stocks might be damaged -- we are already starting to see mutual funds experience negative flows and the party has not even started. Nets down first, general market very soon after, gold stocks weak then off to the races? Yes? Maybe, just maybe.
