I spoke with someone at Netscape today. It appears that GMGC is out of the running for the Netscape / Qwest portal deal. For religious reasons Netscape wants solutions based on Unix and IMAP. GMGC is based on MAPI and Win NT and is seen as a 'Microsoft shop'. Well, being a Microsoft shop is certainly not all bad, especially in light of today's announcement.
