Hey Bonehead. -g- I understand they didn't back up 2,000 armored trucks up to the New York Fed and drive off. Actually, they would probably have to stop by Fort Knox too, for that much. -g-

Almost every spec is "paper" but in the end backed by the real McCoy. My point was a short squeeze like occurrence could be in the cards 'cause this is a big chunk of stored bullion. Frankly, I don't know how much is in the world but I seem to recall the entire world supply mined from genesis is estimated at something under say, 120,000 tons, and that includes stuff in teeth and graves. Soooo ..... I go back to my 8,000 ton comment.

P.S. You know I'm actually starting to question the 8,000 ton number now. I'm not sure if the US Gov't even has that much bullion.
