To put the undervaluation of HS into perspective:

If HS achieves its projected 4Q eps of .66 (whisper # is .67, and yes, I did say 4Q and not year) it would give an annual 98 eps of $1.85 - damn that sounds nice - $1.85!

And what's this company's stock price? $13 9/32 - p/e of 7!

When are investors going to wake up? HS is going to grow eps by 40% in 1998 and are conservatively projected to grow it by 16% in 1999. Analysts covering this stock agree with me on the undervaluation, HS is ranked #1 on Yahoo for recommendation score in the Retail/Wholesale Computer category with a 1.00

This company deserves an absolute minimum of a 15 p/e which would get a stock price over $20. It closed at $19.25 one month ago. Absolutely nothing bad has happened to HS in a month except for irrational fear of overseas economies and the mistaken theory that e-tailers will erode business, imo. Look at what happened to HS price around last earnings release - it went from $9.75 to $17 in one week. I am expecting the same wake-up call this go round, and earnings are set to be announced 2/18 (fingers crossed LOL)
