I don't think you should get slammed at all. When it comes down to it, can anyone say that they know best, or be absolutely confident that their beliefs are 100% correct when it comes to Naxos? I know I can't.

Personally, I feel that J/L had their shot at trying to prove something. They had more than ample time and resources and came up with nada, as far as I know. Sometimes it is best to move on, if only to give other processes the same shot as you gave the past one.
