Actually, it's been a decent year at this end, and I haven't been long anything. Now 1997, that was another story,....also not long anything and took some lumps. (g)

Some form of exit strategy might be worth examining. Nice to have the dough safely out of the market if things get hairy. Took some ugly losses and some good lessons out of 1987, but as you say, it was a long time ago. On the other hand, basic conditions today are much worse than in '87
