CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1999--THQ Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS:THQI - news) makes another entry into World Championship Wrestling's squared circle with lightning-fast arcade-style wrestling action in ''WCW Nitro,'' for the Nintendo 64 game console.
The game is now available at all major retail outlets nationwide for the suggested retail price of $49.99.
Developed by Inland Productions, ''WCW Nitro'' calls more than 60 WCW and NWO wrestlers into the ring for all the Singles and Tag-Team action that ranks the World Champion Wrestling show among the top-rated TV programs. Wrestling Superstars Goldberg, ''Hollywood'' Hogan, Sting, Diamond Dallas Page and other top brawlers are ready to go for the gold in this new addition to THQ's wrestling library.

Players can choose from an array of exciting wrestling moves like the ''Jackhammer'' or the ''Diamond Cutter.'' Each character also has his own set of signature moves to perform in his quest to destroy the competition.
