Scrapps,

Yeah, it does appear ROK is under a rock, but like David says their a well diversified company. Another angle where I come from is that I can't help but looking at ROK as a defense company. My dad worked for them in the '60's and I worked for General Dynamics in the '80's and comparing defense comapnies to commercial companies I have seen a lot more waste on the defense side. I could not believe what it took (in man hours) at GD to make a small change on a product.

Defense companies are pursuing commercial products because they need to and I can't help but labeling ROK defense. I know they are diversified, but one other point I'd like to make is that when the defense industry (especially in Calif) had massive layoffs a lot of defense engineers contacted commercial companies for jobs. I can remember very well some highly talented defense engineers being snubbed by commercial companies because the commercial guys felt the defense guys could not design products inexpensive enough to meet fast paced market demands. I'm not so sure about the theory but it did happen.

I'd put my money on TI anyday, and their new hot rod proves it.
Just my opinion.

Oh, I got your email last night and replied. Did you get mine?
If you did'nt let me know..

Derek
