G'day all - Defrocked clarified, "The American Enterprise Institute is a respectable conservatively-oriented "think tank" in DC." I may cause some ire here, but I tend to agree with Defrocked that AEI is a reputable outfit, and, unlike the Stratfor, which seems to have a loyal following here and elsewhere on SI, the writers pen their name with their analysis <g>.

I may not agree with many things coming out of AEI [not that I read its output regularly,] it seems to broaden itself a bit [I don't think people like Norm Ornstein is that conservative.] Well, maybe relatively speaking. Probably it is downright radical in the eyes of Hoover Institute [well, I will be skinned alive if there is any Stanford folks in our midst <vbg>!]
