This gets you closer to Netscape and AOL by virtue of Netscapes deal with Nextel and Motorola's 25% interest in Nextel. I love it when visions finally come together. Ideas aren't owned by anyone. They are "in the air". You just have to be open and receptive to receiving them and acting on them. We are in Internet Time. Wave 2 blast OFF!! The various lauching padas are being prepared. The rockets are close to being built. Testing is going on as we speak. ALL these fusion roads will lead into Novell's NDS. Sun is there. Java and Jini - Motorola is a HUGE supporter here - are on the run, virally weaving their way in the fabric of this amazingly charged new server-centric world where apps come alive on the Internet. "Windows" are closing fast. This IS the FLUX POINT. GO Novell! PS - Banyon and Blumenthal? Just a reference to inside deception that being played out between Cisco and Microsoft. Achlin chose Banyon. Expect to see NEW FUD behind Windows 2000 directory capabilities that can be grafted over from Banyon in lieu of the Cisco Active Directory Solution. This is equivalent of Bill "turning against Monica" and sicking Blumenthal on the press. I don't expect the Cisco/Microsoft break to be that mean, but the message can't be lost on the world.
