Some guesses:

1) For this quarter: US sales did well. Europe was a little slower than expected. Expenses kept under control. Numbers should be decent, but not blow away. On the other hand, Chuck Jeppson is wise enough that he wouldn't report blow away numbers, preferring to keep some for a rainy day. My guess is that the pipeline continues to get stronger.

2)Market liked yesterday's management announcement: everyone loves to hear that a permanent CFO is in place. And, the announcement that someone is "VP of acquisitions" signals that the company is going to do something strategic with its cash, and that the company is stable enough internally that it can start looking outside to do interesting things. Both are good.

BTW, I hear positive things about the new VP-Marketing, Steven Gal. Met him briefly some months ago, seemed sharp. He is very Internet oriented, so maybe the company will get repositioned more along those lines, which should be great.
