From the beginning you've twisted every argument to reflect your political leanings. Political party loyalty in its most shallow form, has been the singular underpinning of all your specious arguments.. nothing deeper.

The rule of law is not the bulwark of liberty. The concept of liberty runs a far broader and deeper course through our history than that shallow, self serving ditty you spout from the manager's book of slogans.

Liberty has its roots in the common right to property and individual rights finally expressed so well in the Bill of Rights. Concepts revolutionary and unique to the formation of American values. Liberty was the battle cry of the common man, not the wish of those wanting the traditions of rule of law.

British liberty embodied the essence of your "rule of law" to a hierarchical aristocratic society of less than five percent of the male population. It embodied the philosophical argument of an ordered society.

American liberty was never a voucher for the tradition of rule of law, to the contrary, liberty (as the right to equal pursuit of property then expanded by Jefferson to 'happiness') is the political entitlement that insures freedom.

This may be a little under or over your head, but if you get your head out of the Clinton myopia you'll be more interesting and less dangerous to the Republic.
