"what can be said of Barricks after this deal has callapsed."

As one who loves to short ABX, and follow ABX like a religion {too much time on my hands today}. I'd say that they hit the price right on the head. Even considering all the drill results released after the last few weeks; ARP never found a way to progress beyond the $5.00 mark; except for when ABX upped the bid. What will happen is that speculators will gather up the stock, get 40% or so, and then walk over to ABX and do a back room deal {sign a lockup}. I will state again, that I own no shares of ARP, but love to follow ABX actions. I think that since the price of ARP doesn't refelct the reserves predicted, that a true problem is here.

Don't see the natives as having any say in anything... they'd be lucky when ABX builds anything there. I'd rather have ABX in charge.
