Tim since you have been doing this for eight years perhaps you could answer these questions at the begginning of the thread if you don't mind. I'd like to discuss what things need to be considered, such as: * Ways to gradually make the transition? * What goals to set in order to determine whether to go back to work. * Other people's experiences who have already done this. * Impact of existing constraints (or lackthereof) (Mortgage, family, existing debt, current age, etc.) * Amount of capital needed * Dealing with other people's reactions (Are you NUTS?!?!) * etc...
