BTW, I had absolutely zero trouble with the Matrox
G200 latest unified driver install. Went in slick
as an oiled eel. I suspect Clarence's problem had
something to do with installing it after the driver
from the CD rom. Funny, though: my original download
wouldn't execute (said "not an NT executable"), downloded
again (exact same file name, rev level) no problem.
Maybe Matrox replaced it without a rev change. Sounds
like Metastock (now THERE'S a cheap shot<gg>).

I'm glad. the matrox driver install sucks. Its given me fits everytime. Matrox supports answer was re-install NT. I just received a note from another expert user friend with the same problem. They need to get this straightened out....

BTW: Maybe there is a 16gig limit??? my 13.5 GIG NTFS boots fine. Oh lets fruther complicate it. In my system its really booting off of my FAT16 C:\ which is Dos/95/NT Backup system. That may explain my lack of difficulty. in your situation the primary OS and boot drive are the same. In my setup they are not.

glad your running at least. The whole state is sad. Its time to re-engineer the PC.
