I understand everything is progressing well re fabrication of x704. For that I am quite relieved. However, I find myself really wondering, given Apple's recent history of marketing blunders and apparent inability to get products to market in a timely fashion, whether Apple can take advantage of its leverage. I know that Umax and Power Computing and others will be using the chip, but Apple can claim some ground by being there first. I understand Apple invested heavily this last round to bolster its position. Not knowing what to think, I will take that as a good sign.
