Thanks grw5 Makes a lot of sense to me. I'm in the same boat as you were at one time. I didn't think it would hurt to leave my mutual funds and IRA with my broker at the bank, but he raised his fee to $75.00's a trade last week when a couple of weeks ago he sold some shares I had when I told him to put a stop loss on them instead of sell them. That cost $1200 to get back in. I use to teach his son Tae Kwon Do, so I was trying to be as patience as possible with him because I knew he hadn't been delt a very good hand of cards but, so many thousands dollars later I've learned my lesson.
