Seems like if he had picked a top, before going short, he'd have something to boast about...

Short from 29 or 30 to 23.5 seems more profitable then a short from 23.75 to 23.5....assuming he covered...his first short position....
Which I assumed he didn't because of his "confidence" that this [SATH] will go down "to 5 or 6"....Like a "fat pig".

"Boxing" to me still seems like a lack of conviction and indecision...
plus requires a lot more up front capital and the constant re-establishment of higher short positions as the winds blow....to ultimately make any money...Not a strategy for the "small" guy...Only really can work if you have a lot of cash to toss around....and tie up...in speculation....

Obviously Rico and Derald made out a whole lot better being more disciplined and timely with their long/short/buy and sell decisions...seems like both were basing their decisions on a much more informed analysis and understanding of events.

Many of the longs still are way above their buy-ins....

Thus the only ones who got snookered are those who bought at 28-30 at the end of the previous day...trying to get the proverbial "train before it leaves the station"....and then sold in a panic as the price continued to dip today...on the "shake"? or trend? or market sympathy move?

Again the world turns...
