Jacobson Resonance Enterprises Co-Sponsors International Scientific Congress in Montreux, Switzerland

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1999--Jacobson Resonance Enterprises (OTC BB:JRSE) announced Tuesday that the company is co-sponsoring the Tenth International Montreux Congress on Stress.

The Congress is sponsored by the American Institute of Stress and Biotonus Clinique Bon Port, and will take place from Feb. 28 - March 5, 1999 at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Montreux, Switzerland.

The purpose of this event is to provide a more panoramic perspective of the vast clinical potential of safe bioelectromagnetic approaches for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease, as well as the promotion and enhancement of health. Plenary sessions chaired by notable authorities will include presentations on the history of electricity in medicine, pulsed magnetic and picotesia stimulation approaches for the treatment of pain, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, nerve regeneration and acceleration of healing and the numerous clinical applications of biomagnetic resonance for malignancy and heart disease.

Dr. Paul Rosch, president of The American Institute of Stress said, "I have been most interested in the work being done at Cornell University on nerve regeneration using picotesia stimulation and the research concerning the effect of picotesia stimulation on automomic nervous system activity in the heart executed at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center." Dr. Rosch added, "Picotesia stimulation based on Jacobson Resonance formulations is on the fast track for FDA approval in the treatment of pain, and case controlled clinical results suggest that it may be effective in the treatment of neurologic disorders."

Dr. Jerry Jacobson, chairman and CEO of Jacobson Resonance Enterprises said: "I will be delighted to chair a plenary session and present our data at the Montreux Congress on Stress, because the scientists and clinicians participating in this event are the leaders in the emerging field of bioelectromagnetics. Furthermore, my respect and admiration for the intelligence and leadership ability of Dr. Rosch leads me to conclude that this event may produce great benefit for the human condition."
