Great writeup Joe. Agree wholeheartedly but if you dont make the people with money happy (Wall Street big boys) then your stock aint going anywhere no matter what your strategy and product lineup is. Waht pisses them off ? Bad revenue growth, negative surprises in the quarters, bad PR and vaccuum of news. You are comparing COMS with DELL ? Similarity stops at the lower margin product offering level. With respect to the points I listed on top DELL has met all the standards whereas our Dog has failed miserably. When will most tech companies understand that WS does not understand technology. They will not get a high when your new powerful NIC is working with policy based networking but they will jump when you say it will rake in millions by taking market share from the competitor. Such words are important and not heard from 3Com but mostly from their competitors. Hence the pressure on the stock since 2 years. -hitesh
