Regarding your message #24... Daniel, I have reviewed my emails and discover I have this horrendous policy stated in writing, which I would be happy to fax to anyone who, like yourself, can't get a straight answer from Web Street. From Mr. John Putnam at Web Street Securities (this is a direct paste from his email to me, dated 1/23/99): "Than i explained that your second order was executed as well as your first order and that the clearing corp or market maker could take up to 48 hours to report an execution back and that this though not the usual practice is acceptable in the industry." Clearly, they expect customers to swallow this nonsense.
