elmatador, Once again I'll reiterate for you. (Not sure why we get such dolts here). You mentioned a possible acquisition of Alcatel. I said that was preposterous. Cisco will not purchase Alcatel nor Siemens (although a portion of Siemens might make sense). Just won't happen. BTW: Chambers mentioned subsequent to that quote you posted that Cisco would go it alone.... I believe that was just talk though. Cisco will partner with someone significant but they will not buy a telecom company. Cisco can not and will not stomach the margins or the weight of an "old-world" operation. OG
