Greg-
Actually what I meant was that I think it's a good thing that everyone in the business needs the q's iprs and they'll must all think they are going to end up paying for them (unless they can get some pseudo governmental body to intervene in some way). Making q shareholders rich is not on their agenda's if they can help it.

My other point is that I think the q may maximize it's value by focusing on area's where it will be the market leader and/or margins are highest. It doesn't seem that the q has a very good chance of becoming a major infrastructure supplier, they never recovered when the nextwave deal died. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to compete in the phone business with nokia, mot, samsung, etc. I was just thinking that they might focus on chips, omnnitracs etc. which have better margins.

Lastly, the only way to resolve the IPR issue is for for everyone to pay q, especially ericy! It will happen. Ericy is realizing they can't stop the train and with cdma2000 moving on, they will deal or die.
