Maybe, Investor's Edge reads the posts here..
Now, if you are reading this: a couple of things to consider..
When you upgrade give us the ability to:
1. change or cancel sell orders online without having to call you.
2. to place and change stop losses online.
3. excecute our orders in a reasonable amount of time
4. have more order takers during peak volume times like market opening.
5. stop making excuses for your shoddy service
6. and stop blaming me for your screwups when I call to complain.
7. give us confirmation in a timely fashion online
I want full control over my trading online, not on the phone, read my lips...ON THE INTERNET. I want to be able to do the same thing on the net as you do when I call, get it?
I want to do all of my trading online, I don't want to talk to you or anyone else. If I wanted to phone and talk to someone, I would go through a full service broker, not those amatuers who take our orders and screw them up. At least, I would be assured of getting the service I am paying for.
The last screwup took twenty minutes to place a market order on the board and cost me money, surely you can do better than that, we expect much more than that. I didn't need to hear, "oh, but its a very busy time" yeah, so what? It's our right to expect more than that, if you can't do it right, get out of the discount brokerage business.
BTW, I'm in the process of switching my accounts, I could be persuaded to leave my account open if I see some improvement, with the changes I have stated..
