Interesting what happened to the values in the southern US when we legislated an abolution to slavery. The children, grand children, great grand children etc. of slave owners grew up not supporting slavery. Values are developed through all the channels you are suggesting as well. That is why all the politicians pushing their agenda are fighting to determine what will and will not be in the educational curriculums and funded for various institutional efforts and causes. Of course all that has to go through a legislative process. No body ever accused you of being naive did they?
