Tim I don't know what your family and personal life is like but I am sure you will agree with this. If your current job is the center of your life you will never be able to make it daytrading at home. You need to build something outside of work to make leaving your job not seem that important. Spend a few vacation days just totally thinking stocks and see how it feels. Build personal contacts so you have someone to talk to if you get in trouble (Not SI!). Remember, If you live by yourself it will be just you, the PC, and the TV/CNBC all day. You need to ask: Can I handle this?

Best of luck to all!
Bob
