Hey Gary, have you seen all those digital book products that are in the pipeline? They are really cool. Essentially, you get a "book" a little smaller than the size of a notebook, which can store about 10 books worth of stuff. The display is LED crystal and can glow in the dark for night reading. To turn a page, you press an icon at the bottom of the screen (like in a Palm Pilot). IMO, this is the future. Our kids will be walking around with these things to school and will download and buy only the chapters they need to read for school. In addition, I will buy one for myself, because I am a hopelessly addicted chain reader of every topic on earth. Also, I may be a classic early adopter, but I cancelled my WSJ subscription about 6 mos after they came out with the online version. I'll never go back to handling that dirty ink soiled paper now that I can get it online. So paper publishing really could become obsolete very soon or just get relegated to the 5-10% of the time someone actually wants a "real" book.

You and I will both be surprised at what mainstay technologies of our time will disappear within 20 years!
