Paul - RE: " "

Since you had nothing to say there, you can comment on this message I wrote to you a few days ago when I guess you didn't check the thread for a day or two.

A few days or a week ago, someone said (on the INTC thread) that
the word in Silicon Valley was that Camino was going to be
delayed. You said you would check up on it. Since I hardly ever
look at that thread, I don't know if you ever replied. Today, I read
this at The Register:

"The company will also have a six month lead over Intel's Camino
chipsets with its Pro133A and Pro133 designs, he claimed. "We'll
be six months ahead of Intel," he said. "The rumours are Camino
has slipped." "

theregister.co.uk

That was said by a director of marketing for VIA, not The Register
itself. According to that guy, VIA's competing chip with Camino
will come out in March. 6 months after that is September.
According to Intel, Camino will come out in June/July.

So is Camino going to be late?
