Tulvio,

Since you can pack more capability into a smaller area using C6X DSP I'm gonna do some dreaming . How about a x2 based wireless Pilot? You could use the Pilot at home as a external modem and then take it on the road with you, oh yeah add Cell features while we're at it too.

You could add simultanious voice/data capabilities to an x2 type modem along with built in answering machine and advanced caller ID and other telephony features. I mean I think things are going to explode with new product development.

Perhaps all this in a package the size of Pilot? Maybe.
How about a wireless voice activated wristwatch that you could send email with.

The possibilities are mind boggling to say the least.

The C6X wont increase the bandwith but could allow for easier things like voice to work with an x2 modem. I'm just starting to think of the possibilities and I'm sure Ideas are in everyones heads.

We can only speculate on what USR is planning to do with next generation x2 modems. If I'm like anyone else at all I want it now!
I think people will flock to 56k, but I am concerned a little about the standards rubbish being spread. Fortunately USR has BIG players lined up to deliever 56k and most of the bad talk is coming from ROK and thier little siblings.
