All good stuff, but...It was kind of like the boy who cried wolf. Still, a lot of the new products are intended for communications and network applications. That can't hurt. The 0.18 micron technology had the qualifier "leff" which means it's not the same as "all 0.18 micron." I think the overall process is considered 0.2 or 0.22. This is not to say it's not ahead technology wise. It is. I don't know when LSI's full blown 0.18 will be out. Just for reference, Intel will be in production with 0.18 late 2Q at some locations.
