Thanks for your response. My gut feels that you may be right. This might be different, that people might be getting tired of this kind of action. On the other hand, I think that my gut has always felt that way at the bottom. And there have been a good five of those since the big run-up a couple of years ago that culminated with the Pathfinder mission. This company has had extremely steady high growth that is only eroding slowly, yet the PE is probably going to be below the annual growth rate after earnings are announced in a couple of weeks. They have a new version of Tornado in Beta. And there is a huge market opening up for them wherever they look. It seems that they have solidified their position in an industry that is poised to take off. So what if that solidification came at the cost of a very small short term slowing in earnings growth.

When they come out with earnings "Inline with estimates", is this going to cause some shorts to flee? Are some shorts already a bit scared of holding the stock through earnings?

Some other points in response to you. It seems to me that the latest drop was caused by the Microsoft vaporware threat when they announced that someday they would have a real-time CE. The stock did not quickly recover. In fact it had made its first real run above 40 took over a month. The same goes for the selloff last fall which seemed to be prompted by an overall sell off in the market.
