I am probing around the world of trucking as well, as there is some good value to be had there and it would to some extent hedge the oil-price equation. HAL has a major project in my backyard, so there are lots of oil types around; interesting to float some of the company names by them and see how they respond.

I have visions of us standing about a hickory-stoked barbecue pit, gently toasting the neighbors while discussing the impact of low oil prices on the stability of the Saudi monarchy and the potential effect of political instability in the middle east on the value of our oil holdings. We would be far too refined, of course, to talk about the death penalty.

Can't quite decide, though, whether the value of placing the heads on stakes outside the front door, pour encourager les autres, would balance the aesthetic loss of not having apples in the mouths.
